The studio feels a little emptier after a market like that. Which is both exciting and a little strange.

Last weekend was such an amazing experience. Seeing so many pieces find new homes, meeting people who connected with the work, and being surrounded by other makers doing beautiful, thoughtful things, it was incredibly inspiring and energizing. There’s something special about sharing space with people who care deeply about what they make.

It was also deeply encouraging. To see my work so warmly received reminds me why I do this. It makes the quiet hours, the experiments, and even the kiln-day casualties feel completely worth it. I’m so grateful for everyone who stopped, looked closely, asked questions, and carried a piece away with them.

What made it even more special was getting to share this very new experience with Al. After everything we’ve already shared, it felt right to step into this next chapter side by side. To stand with the work, talk with people, and experience it all as it unfolded.

Now, the clay and the wheel are calling. I’m excited to dive back in, to experiment, to play with new colors, and to begin shaping pieces that feel like spring: fresh, colorful, and full of life.
